FULL LIST: Cardi B, Childish Gambino Make History At The 61st Grammys

13

Cardi B and Childish Gambio, American rapper and singer respectively, made history on Sunday at the Grammys gala in Los Angeles.

The female rapper won the award for Best Rap Album, a first by a woman, while Childish Gambino became the first black man to win Best Rap Song.

It was also a night for girl power as Kacey Musgraves won Best Album of the Year.

However, Seun Kuti son of Afrobeat legend and pioneer of the music genre, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, was set to thrill the world at the 2019 Grammy Awards in the United States but that failed to happen.
