ALL YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THE LIFE AND LEGACY OF PROPHET TB JOSHUA.

Prophet TB Joshua is a renowned Pastor, televangelist, preacher, teacher, and philanthropist. He was born June 12, 1963, to a poor family in Arigidi Akoko in Ondo State. Due to his family’s humble background, he couldn’t complete his secondary school education as he was forced to drop out. He founded the ministry Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) with over 15,000 members in weekly attendance in his television channel, Emmanuel TV.

HIS DEATH AND BURIAL.

Prophet TB Joshua died on Saturday, June 5 in his home in Lagos, shortly after his Saturday night teachings. The news of his death came as a shock and many were left in disbelief. His family confirmed the news via the church website and official social media account.

The burial was a week-long program titled: Celebrating the life and legacy of prophet TB Joshua. The ceremony kicked off with the Candlelight procession which was headed by the wife of the late man of God; Snr Prophetess Evelyn Joshua and his three children: Sarah, Promise, and Heart. After the Candlelight Procession which was held at the prayer mountain.

A fire incident broke out at the storehouse within the church premises. This caused an outroar but the church officials said the incident occurred due to an electrical fault.

DAY 2, TRIBUTE SERVICE: Many from across the world came to give their tribute to the great man of God. Some of which were singer Timi Dakolo, former Aviation Minister- Femi Fani-Kayode, Scoan workers, Dr Osagie Obayuwana of the committee for the Defence of human rights and the entire SCOAN Congregation.

DAY 3, SERVICE OF SONGS/ALL-NIGHT PRAISE:

The service of song was headed by the SCOAN choir who sang different songs.

DAY 4, LYING IN STATE:

Tears flowed as it was the first time people got to see Prophet TB Joshua lifeless. He was brought in from the mortuary in a Glass Casket. On seeing him, followers of TB Joshua broke down in disbelief as the rumors were true.

DAY 5, LAYING TO REST:

The burial proper was graced by men and women from all around the globe. Dignitaries from Nigeria such as the Governor of Ondo State- Rotimi Akeredolu and his Deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa. The Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu who was represented, the former first lady of Nigeria; Dame Patience Jonathan who was also represented. Traditional chiefs and Queens were also present including foreign pastors and missionaries.

At about 03:00 pm he was buried in the SCOAN Premises amidst tears from all around the world.

DAY 6: THANKSGIVING SERVICE: A bountiful thanksgiving service followed afterward to give God all the glory for a life well spent and to ThankGod on behalf of all those that came from far and near to celebrate the life and Legacy of Prophet TB Joshua.
